# Kairos Content License

> Status: active for the Kairos public release package. This file is not legal advice.

Kairos contains both website implementation code and original macro-cycle content. These two categories are licensed separately.

## 1. License Split

### Website Code

Website implementation code is licensed under the MIT License.

### Content and Research Framing

Kairos content and research framing are all rights reserved.

This includes, without limitation:

- page copy;
- macro-cycle framing;
- Long Wave Atlas structure;
- Watchlist language;
- Evidence Ledger wording;
- regime descriptions;
- Kairos-specific naming and conceptual presentation.

## 2. Boundary Statement

The following boundary applies:

The Kairos name, 周期天象图 name, macro-cycle framework, website copy, research framing, evidence structure, and interpretive content are not licensed for commercial reuse, public republishing, sublicensing, or derivative publication unless prior written permission is granted by the copyright holder.
```

## 3. Mixed Files

Some files, especially `index.html`, contain both code and content.

In those files:

- implementation code is MIT licensed;
- Kairos content and research framing remain all rights reserved.

## 4. Permitted Without Additional Permission

Users may:

- view the public website;
- link to the public website;
- fork or study the implementation code under the MIT License;
- discuss Kairos publicly with attribution.

## 5. Not Permitted Without Written Permission

Users may not, unless separately authorized:

- commercially reuse Kairos content;
- republish the website copy as their own product;
- use the Kairos or 周期天象图 names to imply endorsement;
- package the macro-cycle framework or Evidence Ledger wording into another commercial product;
- remove attribution while reusing the content or research framing.

## 6. Future Licensing

CZ may later choose a more permissive content license, such as a Creative Commons license, but no such content license is granted by this file.
